I can’t write today

Just like you, I am silent

You can make me so

You smeared me of You today

Looks like its gonna hurt

Looks like its gonna stay

Looks like the heart’s gonna betray

If only could I say you so

If only could I hold

If only could I kiss your heart and paint it as a piece of art

But I have to leave just before dawn sets in

As yes the dawn would be the one, the one to hear you sing

You ask me why are you so special

You are so, as when the average speaks about hatred

The opportunists talk about strikes ( surgical this time )

The diplomats talk about trade

You tell me a breaking news,

The news talks about a Lion kissing a deer

When the country sows seeds of hatred in each heart

You speak to me about spring and save me from the hands of hate

You make me feel love, you make me feel loved 

Its amazing to love a poet as only poets can save this world, not soldiers !!

You turned me gold as you set in my eyes

And we held hands, hearing the Ganges roar

I was roaring too, but your hand on mine could calm me off

I had a thousand stories to tell, but all I could do was rest my head on your shoulder

As the diamonds appeared slowly in the sky above dark and stark

Making my bones chill, all I had was your warmth around

No, you cannot lose me, I rather sleep forever in the arms that soothe me.

My eyes are heavy now, I would not like to see anymore !!
