Let me rest on your shoulder

And watch the miracles of the clouds

And you will drink each of my tears from corner of the eye

As I will laugh with joy

And you will once again tell me how much you love me

And I will overlook the hidden lines and concealed creases

And your disclaimers and believe in the fantasy world

A mirage whatsoever

Today when you told me peep out of the window

And gaze at the sunny roses and the cloud kissed azure

I wonder why my eyes were moist looking at the play of the vibrant moth

As the first drop from the sky hit the blazing soil

And the green shroud shone with pride

The brooks giggled and gurgled through the paddy

Did I try to find my abode hidden in the shrubs

Resting at the river bank……

I miss my haven...

In an era where they have made a whore out of democracy

And the independent spirit often treated as an adulteress

I still see a flag which calls for the un hoisted souls

To sing some tales of short lived doped conscience

With a hyped vermilion raised to a naked stem

On the graves of the poets who played with the clouds

If I was she I would have promised you the rainbow

And even the sky beneath

A little bit of vanilla spray

And some petals here and there

If I was she your heart would not have been emptied of love

A promise never broken

A soul never shaken

And we would have traveled far- traveled the dead ends too

With a giggle and some tinkling sounds on the cycle we mend

On the path of the promised rainbow

Not a tear to shed…not a single heart which bled

Pseudo words make a mirage

In a perfectly bordered quarantine

Insomnia strikes back

Hallucination at its best

Guy de Maupassant ‘dwells within

As dark as a Kafka

The juke box rattles with un cleared coins

Still singing the song of a ghetto

The ballads take a back seat with a smirked face

Insanity I love thee-the call of the anthem

The above- a peep in my mind where the chemical imbalance has its own cadence set- Almitra loses her mind

Autumn at her best- stark & naked
Unmasked and bare
Meeting the eyes of the blazing star
Spitting lavas from its devouring tongue
No balm…nothing to calm
Reading itself a stinging psalm
Rising heat from the tar beneath
Wounding, bruising but reaching every pore
I close my eyes…feeling her within…how one we feel?
